Condition Guide

Every pre-loved item has a story, and along with this comes some wear and signs of previous life.

Below is a simple guide to assist you when looking at our condition grading: 

Excellent	The item is in like new, or close to new condition. No visible flaws to note.
Great	The item is in overall very good condition, with minor wear or flaws.
Good	The item is fully functional and is showing some general wear or flaws, but is still in good condition.
Fair	The item is fully functional, but is showing visible wear and flaws.
Vintage	The item is over 30+ years old.
Vintage Great	The item is in great shape for its age, is fully functioning, and showing minor signs of wear.
Vintage Good	The item is in good shape for its age, is fully functioning, and showing some general wear throughout.
Vintage Fair	The item is showing visible signs of its age, and is fully functioning.

 

Why have a separate condition guide for vintage items?

Vintage pieces are 30+ years old, and there is generally more wear that comes with this. Some examples are fading hardware, water markings, surface scratches, discolouration, dryness, slight cracking, odour, etc.
